THE WAY IT WAS!

Integral to the academic and arts program is physical education. The school has a comprehensive sports program, and each student is given the opportunity to participate according to her ability, offering a choice among team and individual, competitive and non-competitive sports.
The Academy's volleyball, basketball, soccer, and fastball teams travel to compete at local, provincial, and Western Canadian levels. Other sports include badminton, cross-country skiing, floor hockey, tennis, and track and field.
St. Angela's Academy attempts to apply its policy of excellence to its athletic program. Possessing a reputation of both skill and good sportsmanship, the girls have been medal winners throughout the years.
Some of our students have won scholarships to attend universities in Canada and the United States because of their athletic excellence.
Emphasis is placed on wellness and fitness programs to ensure good health.
